I can't place my first train station!

Just loaded the new Switch version... it says to place a train station. Ok. I hit ZR, move the highlighted box to small train station, rotate my station to where I want it... everything is green and looks fine... but I can't find a button to actually place the darn thing. I hit A and it shows a movie... Y ? Nope... how about X? Nope... +/- ?? Nope and Nope... the arrow and directional keys just let you select stuff. R and L buttons just rotate stuff... ZL ? nope...

... I have ran out of buttons... HOW do I place that first station???

Left mouse button works for me. Do you have enough cash? You don't appear to have the game on Steam, is it a legitimate copy? (Questions, not accusations.)

Edit: Ok, first station so you should have cash. There was a new release v.1.13 today, it may be a new bug, what version are you playing?

sorry chaney, seems a little late for you :). He is playing on Nintendo Switch, so no mouse there.

Or not late enough? Ok, LMB does work for me, but I see now how that's not very helpful here!

Can you look through "Tips and Tricks" (one of the upper left icons) for some control inputs?

Ok, I finally figured it out... you have to clear the tutorial messages by hitting X a few times and then the A button builds the station. It was a bit frustrating at first, but I am getting the hang of it. Now I am trying to figure out how my trains get to cities that aren't on the routes I give them... they seem to go wherever they want... lol
Anyway... I am having fun learning... thanks for the replies :)

Hang tough through the learning process, it can be confusing but there's a good game once you get past that! Thanks for posting your solution.
