Express train from Berlin to Cologne

Does anyone have some tips on how to create an express train from Berlin to Cologne in the Patchwork scenario? I cannot make it an express train even if i have a dedicated rail line with a maximum incline of 2%, the fastest locomotive, staff bounses, etc.

Did you use Hulda?

I failed too as Classic 3 b, but succeeded as Hulda.

Did you let it run a few round trips undisturbed? You can also limit the train to 1 car for a little extra speed.

Yes I am using Hulda, still did not succed...

Yes I let it run a few times, i will also try limiting the number of cars

1) Make a direct connection. 100% straight if possible, no elevation. Do not curve or elevate the track for cheaper construction but a longer traveling time.

2) Let no other trains use and potentially block your track.

3) Use the fastest engine available.

You should get an express train status.
