Terminal Stations?
What exactly is a terminal station? Is it a station that the lines only run into it from one end?

As far as I can tell, the advantage is the smaller footprint. If you need to fit in a station against a mountain or body of water, a terminal (lacking all the switching track at one end) can fit in places another station can't.

That said, I haven't actually used one yet.
