Multi-Track Crossings... No Bridges or Tunnels!

I'm not sure if this was part of a recent update, but I've managed to run a line diagonally across 6 parallel lines. I took a screenshot... does anyone know how to attach it to this message?

Trying to parallel the diagonal track as well, but the tool won't let me.

You can't do a parallel diagonal, so you have to separate the second track slightly and trreat it as you did the first.
I had a problem trying to cross lines on flat ground. the crossing track insisted upon tunnelling under the first, which prevents the creation of the crossing. The cure is to raise the crossing trackuntil the tunnel becomes a bridge, which you can convert to a crossing.

My only other idea would be to shortcut the "enter" key for confirming track purchases and schedule changes.
