Need help with the South scenario (the oil one)
How does one manage to produce 20 loads of oil per week? The oil building in Kansas only demands 7 oil per week. Just got my second well to level 5 and now half the trains run empty :(

How do I make up the other 13 weekly demand? Petrol? That would mean I'd need quite a few 115,000 pop cities, which would mean I'd have to pretty much restart the map because I'm waaaay too invested with long haul oil that didn't turn out terribly profitable :(

Is there a trigger at some point that increases the demand in Kansas?

There are several wells around the map, first acquire the bussines and then upgrade the well.

My problem is with demand, not supply. I just said that I had two level 5 wells so naturally I've already figured out to acquire and upgrade them...

Just wanted to know if the same approach worked in this map as for the one where you had to haul meat to Omaha (East Scenario or somesuch)

yes I remember doing that too but I forgot to buy the bussiness and the task didnt get checked off the list. Start with 4 or even 5 tracks going to your home town or any other that requires oil.

3 cities in total that demands oil. Kansas, one mid map west side of map, and one of the southern cities at the coast (do not recall the names). All three of them has the Standard Oil building in building slot #4

If you had particular problem with the oil demand.. do the warehouse trick.. build warehouses, pick oil and click max. It will get you 99 oil 'demand' per warehouse built. That way you can complete the 20 oil production / week.

yea, build warehouses

The three cities that demand oil are Kansas City ( from the start), Houston and Brownsville (which open later). Delivering to those cities brings money, delivering to warehouses does not.

But delivering to a warehouse gets you the goal done. THEN you can deliver from a warehouse to the cities.

In general, any task that says "Transport X" or "Produce Y" can be completed with a warehouse. In fact, in some scenarios, to get a perfect score for those tasks, you have to use a warehouse---there's not enough time to do it otherwise.

And yes, this also includes the Civil War campaign mission. Deliver weapons to Nashville & Memphis as the narrator mentions? Nope. Just deliver 12 units to a warehouse. Task done.

Which scenario/s are you talking about?

Automobile in particular. 30 loads of steel by 1913 and 50 loads of gasoline by 1915. For gold checkmark, that is 24 months (Dec 31, 1911) for steel and 36 months (Dec 31, 1912) for gasoline.

To actually get to 30/50 without a warehouse you need a car production line that delivers end to end ---and with sufficient demand--- which means you need to get the toledo-chicago line going AND deliver 50 cans of gas in 36 months. A tall order without warehouses. It might be possible, but I prefer to build a very strong economy first, get the tasks done with the warehouse 'trick' (it's more like stockpiling in anticipation of demand) and then get on to the car production in earnest.

Ok. Yeah it's definitely possible without warehouses. Even with hands completely tied such as no bonds, no bonuses, no tech auctions, proper repairs, and Tricia Jones character it's still just possible.

Madison is a strong area of the map. This leads into initially developing out to Madison and Duluth. The express run Duluth-Madison is quite profitable. Steel Mill in Duluth, Toy Factory in Madison once these grow. That's Steel taken care of.

Then for Gasoline, produce in St. Louis that seems to keep a free slot long into the game. Make sure to get Chicago above 110k so citizens need Gasoline, then ramp up Auto production.

Change industries to Oil refineries so the city demands oil. But the three mentioned cities should be enough for the achievement.
