GPU heavy?
V-sync on, low on all available settings. Still the fans on my GTX 1060 (6GB) are working really hard. Am I missing something or is the game just badly optimized?

Have you checked what the actual GPU load is?
GPU-Z is a good free program that does this :)

If the load is low but the temp is still high then you might just have a good old cooling problem.

Game seems to be a bit laggy right now.
Running on i7 @4.7 GHZ and GTX1080Ti OC

FPS are good but i have some stutters every few seconds. Especially when driving along the trains.

I have a quite new rig where I can run most new games on high or highest settings without a problem. It's only this game and "Vikings - Wolves of Midgard" where the fans has to work hard.
Haven't checked the actual temp yet though.

The best way to figure out which component is currently holding back your performance is to download MSI Afterburner, and enable its On Screen Display, so that you can actively see CPU and GPU load percentages while playing. If the CPU is stuck at 100% while the GPU isn't, then there's your bottleneck (and vice versa)

Here's a guide on how to set it up - All you need to enable in the OSD are the CPU and GPU load graphs. (Feel free to ask, if you get stuck)

Just turn down the fan strength on your card. The graphics are actually really optimized.

The performance of this game is very good. I can even run my etherminer in the background and still have 60fps.

One of the best performed games from desktop to start and load savegames and ingame playing. I have no problems but i have a 4790K and GTX 1080.

Could you please provide which graphics card you're using?

@everybody: I guess you're all pretty up to date and know you're rigs, but maybe make sure if you're using the latest display drivers according to your graphics card.
If you still encounter heavy GPU load we would appreciate you sending/posting us your DxDiag and mention at which section of our game this behaviour occurs.

Hi,
Nvidia 1060 6gb
I5 3ghz
16gb ram
Every others games run smoothy. I don't understand. (I don't touch the default configuration in the game)

Interesting... That's very close to my current setup and it runs this game super smooth on the highest settings :/

I have the same issue with an AMD 390x. Is weird because dosen't matter what graphics detail or resolution are you using, the gpu hits 75-77 degrees and goes with the fans at high and the noise is notable. It seems like a huge problem for me.

Go into the graphics options and limit the game to 60 fps (via the screen resolution option). It seems it will otherwise run as fast as the gpu can manage. My gpu was running at 99% before I turned that down. Now it's fine.
Monzun Jan 29, 2018 @ 8:16am
Yeah; if your monitor can't render faster than 60fps you have no reason to have it set higher in this game.

V-sync is on so the fps is capped to 60. Checked it with Steam's fps-meter and it seems like it works as it should.
The game itself runs smooth but the fans has to work hard. They are hardly noticable when I'm running other new games so I'm guessing something is not right here.
I'm running the game in 1920x1080 resolution and all the graphic settings on low. The graphic card (GTX 1060, 6GB) shouldn't have any problems at all with those settings.
