You aren't going to try make me buy it twice, are you? Modders have been this stuff for free, and better than studios selling VR conversions. This is Atari, so of course I expect them to try rip me off.

I was really looking forward to the VR version of System Shock 2, especially after all the hints and videos we got back then. Unfortunately, that project was cancelled, and now we’re getting this instead which is also really cool! But yeah, I was still hoping for a System Shock 2 VR version Hopefully, it’ll still happen someday....

I already own System Shock on steam. Is this going to be an addition to that game or fully separate? I understand there's a robust UEVR mod for System Shock already. What does this new official VR offering bring to the table over that? Depending on the features I would definitely purchase a VR DLC, but I'm wondering why the separate store page for this project. Looks cool though!...

What level of interactivity can we expect?

Quadrilateral Cowboy makes you feel like you are penetrating and manipulating a real machine or system. System Shock's cyberspace, by comparison, makes you feel like you entered a separate videogame dimension that represents "the network." That's the biggest thing I'd change if the developers were willing to stray further from the original narrative and rethink cyberspace. I would much rather see the cyberspace levels replaced—or heavily reimagined—around the kind of environmental, systemic hacking me...
