getting like 15 fps on this game
on my native resolution 1366x768 i get like 15 fps on every setting (very low, low, medium, high, very high).
my laptop is i5, nvidia ge force 630m
not a great gaming laptop by any means, but i can get like 30fps+ on metro last light high settings, skyrim very high, ultra settings, bioshock infinite high, tomb raider - high settings, witcher 2 - medium settings.
all those games look nicer than this game, but I'm having unplayable fps.
Is this game poorly optmized? I don't understand why I'm getting so low fps on a game that has graphics similar to mass effect 3 which i get like 60+ fps on...

a lot of games are not optimised for mobile graphics cards, this is probably the cause of your problem.

deleting SREngine.ini in Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SpecOps_TheLine\SRGame\Config
seemed to do the trick for me.
Getting 40+ fps on high now

I had a similar problem running it on My Dell 7720 until I noticed that the game automatically switched to the Intel HD graphics as opposed to utilising the dedicated 650m. Finally sorted it out by adjusting the settings in the Nvidia control panel.

Can you explain how you use your nvidia control panel to fix it? I have a radeon, but if you tell me how to do it, maybe it will help me as well. I already deleted the SRengine.ini file but the fps is still awful.

Radeon Settings > Preferences > Additional Settings > CCC Slim > Power > Switchable Graphics Application Settings. From this menu you can manually add applications to High Performance mode so they will use the Radeon GPU.
