Are intel graphics cards supported by this game?
I am interested in buying this game but I saw that the graphics card I have was not listed (Intel HD 3000). Does anyone have an answer or insight?

Intel HD 3000 is an integrated graphics chip apart of the CPU. It was not designed for playing games with. You need a dedicated video card in order to play proper video games. Below are the system requires if you do not meet the minimum system requires it means the game will not run.

Spec Ops: The Line Minimum Requirements:

OS: Windows XP SP3
Software: Steam Client
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2GHz / AMD Athlon 64 X2 Equivalent
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Hard Drive: 6 GB free
Video Memory: 256 MB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 / ATI Radeon HD 2600XT
Sound Card: DirectX Compatible

Spec Ops: The Line Recommended System:

OS: Windows Vista/7
Software: Steam Client
Processor: 2.4 GHz Quad Core processor
Memory: 3 GB RAM
Hard Drive: 10 GB free
Video Memory: 512+ MB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX/ATI Radeon HD 4850
Sound Card: DirectX Compatible

Also there is a demo of the game that is free to download to test. Though it would be a wasite of bandwith and time. Due to your Intel HD 3000 is just way to weak and is not for gaming.

Intel HD 3000 graphics doesn't exclude you from playing this game. You'll probably have to tweak the graphics settings to get the best FPS, but I know of several people who play this game with Intel HD 3000 graphics. I don't know what your specs are, but here's a video you might want to take a look at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxPRK4y5FIw

His are the lowest pc specs I've seen anyone play this game with. He's playing on an I3 2.2 GHz with 4 GB of ram. There's some lag in places, and there will be more when there's a lot going on in the game.

Here's a video playing on an i5 2.4 Ghz with 6 GB ram: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F8rZ7ab5Suc

The game certainly won't run as smoothly with HD 3000 graphics as it will with a dedicated card, but you can compare your specs with the ones in the videos and decide for yourself if you think it's playable or not.

I run it with a HD4000 just fine at 1280x720 with settings on high. 20-30 fps. I have an i7 though so that might help a bit. I haven't experienced any lag even in heavy sandstorm/battle situations.

When I used to have my intel hd 3000, I was able to play this on it's lowest settings at 1280X720. I got around 30 fps. It's perfectly playable.

Yes, it's not for gaming, but it's still able to run on Intelhd 3000. I say he should get it. It worked just fine on my integrated gfx.

I'm sure the i7 helps quite a bit, as UE3 games are CPU heavy, at least more than a lot of engines out there.

Hey OP, what kind of CPU are you using?
