Does yours go to a black screen like mine?

Try updating you video card driver. I have GeForce. And once I installed recent update (just today) Spec Ops launched.

Yes it was going to a black screen and I have the latest AMD video driver I had to go to properties for the game and validate the files and reload steam now it works fine

I'm having a no sound issue. Someone else? Even in-game. No sound at all

I was having some game crashes and no sound in cutscenes until recently. But with the latest Nvidia driver update for windows 10 the game seems to be running perfectley now.

I fixed it by setting the exe (in the binaries/win32 folder) to run in Windows 8 compatability mode. You can set it to Windows 7 or even earlier than that if that doesn't work.

@hall.brad2400 You do this by going into the game's .exe's Properties and clicking into the Compatibility tab. From there, you will see an option for Compatibility Mode.

I had a similar issue after upgrading to Windows 10 from Windows 7 and a new AMD R9 390 video card. I tried the above compatibility change on the game's *.exe file (which for me was found in the games folder under the sub folder of Binaries) to run with Windows 7 Compatibility but I was still receiving the Fatal Error while trying to load the game. I then watched a video posted by XtremeGamer88 on YouTube who suggested to re-download and install the latest version of Nvidia's PhysX program. After doing this the problem I was having is now fixed and I can run the game in Windows 10 without issue.

So again.

- While in your Steam game library change to detail view. Right click on the Spec Ops: The line game and choose properties . Under the game properties click on local files and then verify integrity of game cache.
- Check and update you video card drivers.
- Change your game's *.exe properties to run in Windows 7 - 8 compatibility mode.
- Download and install the latest PhysX from Nvidia's website. ( Do this regardless of the manufacturer of your video card.)

Hope this helps.

Any one feel love for Win 10 as this could be a problem with a lot of older games.
