Spec Ops The Line Crashes every time
Literally every time I try to launch, it crashes to a white screen. I cannot even kill the game with task manager, because task manager launches underneath the white game screen, and doesn't even allow me to move it to my other monitor.

Must I just uninstall and forget about it?

It's a Win10 thing for sure. Yes. I put my specs in just in case someone had a solution.

I did the Steam Local files verification thing. No problems. I uninstalled and reinstalled. Tried to launch. Same problem.

Re-verified, and it said there was a faulty file. Auto-fix happened and it works...

It's working now. It said there was a flawed file when I did the Verification. Maybe it was a win10 error, maybe it was steam failing to properly download and install. We may never know. It's all systems nominal now though.

You know damned well I hate myself for what I have done...

Actually, I'm a veteran of three theatres of operation myself, and I sometimes do feel a bit bad about what we did...

If it gets stuck after crashing you can avoid having to restart your PC by Pressing the Windows Key + Tab This will bring a more advanced version of the ALt + Tab Screen up which should have the option to create a "New Desktop" ( plus icon - like adding a browsing tab) From that new Desktop you should have full access to all your PC including task manager to kill the crashed game.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. I've since relocated the Task Manager to the Left monitor again now. I wish there was a way to make things stay where I put them, but that's a windows 10 problem. Every time I turn off monitors, my windows all migrate to the primary monitor. I even tried a program called Persistent Windows, but that only works on about 60% of things.

I also had this problem recently. Fixed it by re-installing the game.
