Well that's just not true at all. Those games are garbage.
That's not true at all, maybe if you'd played the game.
Another Front Line with a co-op campaign would be icing on the cake too.
I vote thumbs up to the idea.
Maybe a legitimate poll would let the developers know if it would be worth considering?
Call of Duty Black Ops (the first one) and the earlier Battlefields (ex. Battlefield Bad Company 2) are masterpieces.
"Because it was a brutal, painful development & everyone who worked on it would eat broken glass before making another. Also it didn't sell."
Yeah, that's what's said, but that's in regard to a sequel. It didn't need a sequel at all just a completely different setting, preserving the core mechanics to some extent in a next release. As well, they asked way too much for the game at the time and it drastically affected sales because some people (whom which I won't name and shame) got too greedy and thus the game didn't break a million in sales. Some are just not content to make some money and move on with the next Spec Ops title. The game had a steep price of $60. A lower price would have been more fair, but there is a lot of greed in the gaming industry and it was a bit greedy to hike the price that high. Had they kept that price down a bit, the game would have sold a heck of a lot more copies than it actually did. There were also some politics behind the scenes that contributed to that issue and other big titles were coming out at the time.
Spec Ops is one of those games that is a rare gem, but greed damaged its future as a frachise title. That damage could be reversed, but the greed has to be left behind if any further production were to occur.
