Screen keeps flashing black

Idk what it is but I'm on chapter 11 and my screen keeps cutting to black in and out really fast

its really annoying and my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ eyes hurt so bad

I don't know for sure if it's the same thing, but some games, especially ones without a borderless window setting will flicker like that when I have Shadowplay set to "Desktop recording enabled". It's most likely unrelated but you can try a couple things.

Try switching resolutions, try changing between windowed and fullscreen in the options and "alt Enter". If you are using any kind of third party program to get a borderless window, turn that off. Pretty much just ♥♥♥♥ around with the graphics setting until it fixes itself or you tried changing everything.

Like I said, this info may not help you at all, but it's something to try.

Turns out it was a scripted sequence programed by someone who wanted to trigger as many seziures as possible, not a gitch.

Lol its the part where you have to fight a heavy with it cutting back and forth isnt it
