There is some mouse's smoothing and acceleration in game's config file.
edit: remember to disable smoothing, all(?) unreal engine 3(?) games seem to speed up aim when the framerate goes down with smoothing enabled
there will be deadzones if the in-game sens is too low, so to a certain degree it's better to lower the windows sensitivity and/or the cpi of your mouse, so that you can keep the in-game sens higher.
what's also very awkward is that UP sensitivity is lower than DOWN sensitivity.
for example in my case, if i equip the 16x scope on the Tactical Scout, i'll have a deadzone for up movement, but not for down movement.
unfortunately i wasn't able to find any variables in the ini files that control up- and down movement separately, so i suppose it's beyond our control.
(you can see this difference in sensitivity if you move your mouse downward at a 45 degree angle, and then back up at a 45 degree angle; your crosshair will not be moving over the same path, even though your mouse is. if you stop where you started, your crosshair will not be aiming at the same spot.)
