Press the mouse 3(wheel) button while over the enemy to get teamates to distract the heavy. Then toss a grenade at it's feel(or on with sticky) and then take a few quick but careful shots at the head. You will see the face shield crack and expose a small target area after one or two shots. It SEEMS to be more effective to hit there instead of intact mask but it still often takes a few more well placed shots. A second grenade is ideal to repeat the process as the heavy will resume shooting you after 1-1.5 seconds.
*EDIT- Sorry, I detoured into a tangent about my love of the game. Nothing essential follows.

I hope this helps. BTW I love this game. The combat is ridiculous but the simulations of moral(and mortal) injuries soldiers endure and the emotional chaos due to poor intel, senseless death/orders and constant facing one's own mortality is dead on. I spent almost 4 years in various combat zones as a non-SF soldier this decade and playing this feels like coming home. Just add the smell of burning electrical equipment, human excrement, water bottles filled with urine, a Wild Tiger energy drink and my endless supply of replacement eye pro(tection) to complete the experience. There is a reason so many vets keep coming back to this game.
And the gameplay advice.
