best senran kagura game so far, it's sony's fault if we don't got anything new, there was a project senran kagura S7VEN that should have been a new main game of the serie but due to sony's new censorship policy the game got almost cancelled, we didn't got any news about it since the new policy

I mean, in Germany we literally had that "killer game" debate in the 2k years forever and in the end people finally realized shooters don't turn people into RL killers. It's just so incredibly stupid, but typical humanity, to re-do the same debate but with sexualization in games turning people into disrespectful creeps and potential rapists iRL. It just makes no sense at all.

I feel like it's just the typical behavior of people who always need a simple reason for what they think is wrong with the world instead of taking all the puzzle pieces together. I could point at so many different things that increased the obsession over female bodies over time, and well not all are men made (intentionally spelling it that way). Plus as is with all things you will find people of all the countless genders voting for or against anime boobas to be visible.

Honestly, the best thing humankind could do is to just let everybody enjoy the little things they like best. Don't like it? Don't look at it. But no, it always has to end up in a power struggle instead. Damn shame.

I'm talking about a new game with many of them so far unused SK characters added. I'm not paying for the remake of a game that not only has less characters than EV, but also sells some of the standard characters of EV as DLC. So much for awesome...

Just... bring back the Ayane DLC and this game will burst sell more copies than the new Neptunia crossover ever could.

It's a shame Senran Kagura isn't blooming these days, it's basically Dynasty Warriors if Dynasty Warriors wasn't ♥♥♥♥.

One DLC character does not bring back players. Ayane isn't even that good compared with some others. The reason why you can't buy her now is the license expired. Renewing that contract would probably cost more than the few sales from remaining EV players could ever create.

Senran Kagura and Dynasty Warriors only have one thing in common: Smashing lots of enemies. That's pretty much all, the rest is very different. From aestetics, over combat mechanics to the deeper gameplay options DW games offer over SK games. Not to mention the budget, staff size and content discreparency between the two series.

i'm still sad Re:Newal doesn't have multiplayer with the massively updated combat system. That game could just make bank from multiplayer alone.

Estival Versus & PBS still have some recurring players here and there because of the multiplayer, there's a dedicated community and discord server too for both games, and there's an "unofficial competitive patch" for EV being shared around lately.
The game is still pretty much being played because there's multiplayer.
You can't ignore that the multiplayer aspect of EV keeps the game around for a lot longer for talks. It adds replayability value to the games.

For Re:Newal, the game doesn't have much to do after all the grind, and the lack of multiplayer just turns people away especially when people are coming from EV. People expected a more fluid multiplayer game with the new combat mechanics and stuff, and was surprised that they don't get it.

That's nice and all but you admit it yourself here and in other posts it's "playerbase here and there" "matches still open sometimes" that's not what making bank looks like. People play a game while it's new and on the first major discounts a few people add to it, but they don't exactly replace the early numbers. If multiplayer is in a game, yeah sure it creates early interest by multiplayer gamers and adds to the already high launch player numbers. But in any given no fully multiplayer game you find these Steam topics years later asking "Is multiplayer still alive if yes I buy" and people always respond mostly dead but hey you got a shot at a match through discord.
