maybe one of the most infuriating ones is for defense. unlike animation cancelling (which has a detailed guide in the hub). most knowledge on the defense stat comes mostly from observation and experimentation.
Here's a useful one that works for all characters; when using Ninja Scroll attacks, more powerful attacks override weaker ones. So if an enemy catches you in a 1-scroll attack, immediately activate a 2- or 5- scroll attack to break free.
this guide helps a ton
Super interesting info, I actually noticed sometimes some Ninja Arts bested other Ninja Arts but never understood why or how. Regarding the dash attacks, I learned at Shinovi Versus some fast -oriented characters like Imu or Yomu tended to damage while dashing.
In the other hand, I have seen various discussion about something called "cancel animations" or "animation cancelling" or something like that. I wonder what that could mean?
Sorry, I did checked the guide as soon as I posted my comment. It contains much knowledge I didn't know and its very useful, thank you for sharing it!!
