Thoughts on DLC characters?
Are they all unique? Have decent attacks? I'm interested in getting them, but having to pay 23 bucks for them all is a bit steep, so I'd like to hear some impressions at least.

I heard they don't have Shinobi Transformations and have no relevancy to the story in any way. But other than that some of them are fun—heard Ayane was fun at least.

All the dlc characters have unique movesets among the characters in the base game and between themselves.

Only Ayame, Kagura, and Naraku have shinobi transformations as they are characters from the Senran Kagura universe, while Ayane and the Ikkitosen characters don't have transformations as they are guest characters but they still have access to shinobi super moves just like all the other girls in their transformation state.

Also keep in mind that the dlc characters do not have any story missions added for them and are mostly going to be used in missions you already completed or in the online multiplayer.

Hakufu is love.

Well, she's silly, and her breach art at its highest level has invincibility while casting, can be followed up with an ariel rave when enemies are knocked back by the shockwave, and it fires 8 high-speed homing bolts. It takes some leveling before she gets there though. At lower levels her breach art is actually trash.

Otherwise Ayame, Ayane, Kagura, Kan'u, and Ryofu are all solid characters. Naraku is a bit underwhelming (she's still fun to mess around with though).
Ayame comes with yuri. 'nuff said.

Ikkitousen characters are really fun to play, well worth it. Haven't tried the other ones yet.

i think all the characters are worth, i mean most of them are on sale and the DOA and ikkitousen character(s) arent but if you bought both packs for full price its still only 15usd, thats 4 characters with voice work, unique animations etc it seems worth it to me

otherwise you can wait until they go on sale but who knows how long that will be, or if will be still be playing estival at that time

No clue what you're talking about, Naraku is kagura's guardian.

About Ayane and missing scenes from room: Ayane doesn't have it because the Koei/Tecmo/Team Ninja being overprotective and doesn't allow you to kiss Ayane. If you notice, she also missing a complete nude scene unlike other characters. Also she is missing heart meter too.
