Feel free to add something if it works. I can confirm the the Xbox 360 controller and XB1 Wireless controller works.

Im using a X360 controller and all the button mappings are wrong. Did you do anything special? My B buttons acts as A and X as B. The Y, A and Right stick do nothing. Extremely frustrating

xbox one controller here (1st gen) and works fine. i tried using a dualshock 2 with a converter and x360ce and while it worked many of the buttons were not working properly. X and O were swapped. square and triangle were swapped. R1 and R2 were swapped. L1 and L2 were swapped. the left stick and d-pad worked fine but the right stick's x and y axis are swapped.
another friend of mine says his dualshock 3 controller doesnt work and it looks like x360ce doesnt hook with the game either
i hope the devs respond and fix this issue

I have same problems with DS3 (steam recommended method, no 3rd party tools installed). Other games works good.

If you use the bult-in steam controller emulation I think you can play anything, at least I can.

That's what i was trying. But all the buttons are messed up. X is back, while O is accept... All buttons mapped right, official sony driver installed.

Controllers ive tested with the game and confirmed working

Xbox 360 Pads (official and third party)
Xbox One Controller (official)
DUALSHOCK 4 (official) ---- displays Xbox button layouts but easy enough to use.

The default for emulation is the Nintendo Layout that you're geting, Where O is the A buttom and X is the B. I like that layout because i'm not into XBOX and has some nintendo consoles.

I was using this. It's worked for most games, even for SK:SV. In bon appetit rhytm game i was even getting ps button prompts. But it won't work normally for estival though. I guess i need to wait for a patch or smth...

but even bugged or no, you still can go to your library, right click on estival versus and change the buttoms that are wrong yourself.
the configuration will only be for estival versus, others games will be default.

Sorry, but it's not working. Apparently some configs are bugged. I found another game in my library with same error but it have /_\ as X button and maybe smth else...Idk what to do, really.

I posted a message to author of the guide. I guess i'm the person who tested DS3 with most games. It's worked flawlessly only with SK:SV and SK: bon appetit. In fairy fencer F all buttons are messed up: [-]=/_\, /_\=X, X=O... In hyperdevotion neptunia dpad is not working at all and maybe some buttons are messed up too. Feels bad x). Trillion is the same for me: /_\=X, X=O. I don't want to buy ds4 just to play my games (xbox dpad is awfull, so it's not a solution).

Make sure you configured correctly the first time big picture asked for it. accect buttom where you want the accect buttom and etc. if you're unsure just unmark the box of generic controller support and ps controller suport, unlink the joystick of your account and replug in the usb, so configure it again. i had some errors on that too.

Also about the d-pad, it's a special case, where using dualshock controllers you have to change the d-pad layout to Cross Gate.
Because your's erros are pretty similar to what I had, i think you can't use your second analog stick to turn the camera on nep, i'm correct? idk how I fixed the second analog, I think when you fix the dpad the analog automatically fix. or is because I was really messing up a lot with the big picture configs, re-pluging and re-configuring, re-linking.

Was a bit hard, but YEA, i think you can make that controller work pretty well.

Check on windows native input if your controller is working well, also try x360ce, tap auto configure to just spam your's buttoms, so you will be abble to see if they are responding correctly. But when you press O i think the A letter on the x360ce will bright, because those programs usually auto configure your joystick to the nintendo layout.

Don't forget to unlink your ds3 from your account and unplug, re-mark the generic controller and maybe ps4 controller suport and re-configure everything

I'm not using any tools besides official PSN sony dualshock 3-4 driver and steam app ofcourse. But i will try it. Btw when i remapped buttons for specific games they didn't even changed. Aka i swapped O and X but no result at all. The problem is... This official driver works only as Dinput. We use steam to make it xinput mode, but... apparently it's still not perfect solution).
