i want to vaporize whoever came up with these medal requirements

you know how you get medals after reaching a certain milestone or achieving something, like say beating a specific mission fast enough or destroying 500 enemy doofartmajigs? well one of the medals requires you to complete the game with machine guns only.

are you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ kidding me? you want me to beat the game with the games' most dogass weapon available? this ♥♥♥♥ has the range equivalent of a sawn off ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ shotgun, the damage of a hairbrush, and don't even get me started on aiming the ♥♥♥♥♥♥' thing.

look, i get it, it's meant to be a challenge (that can be completed on any difficulty) and the mg's arent meant to be the strongest thing ever, but after having a taste of project wingmans' machineguns i just want to grab a hatchet and whack that thing at someone's forehead. i don't know about you, but i'd very much rather lobotomize myself with missile spam than force myself to use the machinegun reticle.

guess this is the cost of trying to 100% a ♥♥♥♥♥♥' nyoom nyoom plane game

i heard you should use the mig 21 with the gunpods for that challenge
the gunpods count as mg's and as far as i know it is the only jet that has them
also maybe use the parts for more gun range, dmg ,auto track and auto fire

If all you care for are achievements, you can do multiplayer medals first and then do singleplayer ones. Achievement unlocks when you get singleplayer medal that is 26th in total (sp and mp combined). This means you don't have to play full game with guns only, don't have to do speedrun, and don't have to play through the game "hitless".

if you dont mind using mods, look for "gun velocity mod" that is one of the modules inside the "Stable Handling and Gun Mod"
makes the gun very useful, making the peeper a lot more stable, do mind that it dosnt works with some add-on plane mods like the SU-25 or the FA-27 tho

This is what I did. Between the built-in guns and the gun pod, you can actually deal a lot of damage. Just hold both buttons at once.

I cracked my head and combined my guns only and no damage runs, just like this guy: https://www.reddit.com/r/acecombat/comments/aluw1q/i_combined_my_guns_only_and_no_damage_runs_some/ It is too frikin' hard, but definitely achievable.
