Multiplayer help?
Do you guys have tips for someone wanting to play multiplayer? It seems really fun and I love this game but it's such a massive skill gap between new players and someone that has missiles that follow you and do turns sharper than you 7 times over till it hits you, and these people that seemingly turn immediately in space without losing speed whatsoever.

There's gotta be things I'm missing where I feel so "on-rails" and these other guys are moving so agile like. If you guys have tips I'd really appreciate it. I'd say the biggest thing I struggle with is just... I can dog fight someone one on one and they almost always every single time get on my tail while I'm doing to do those high G turns as sharp as possible yet they're zooming passed me.

When I first started playing the game, I used to think, “I guess I’ll never be successful in multiplayer.” But now, while I’m not perfect, I’m good enough to feel satisfied. One of the most frustrating aspects of the game is the lack of a proper matchmaking system. However, Ace Combat isn’t exactly a multiplayer game with a large enough player base to support proper matchmaking. So I understand the developers on that.

As for advice:
- Experience is everything. If you can’t clearly dominate in the campaign, don’t jump into multiplayer. You’ll be facing a level of difficulty clearly above anything the campaign offers. Complete the campaign at least once — ideally on every difficulty level.

- Get used to Expert Controls. You should also do this in the campaign.

- Unlock all body parts.

- Identify exactly what you’re lacking. Remember, every aircraft has its own characteristics. Each one has its strengths and weaknesses. The same goes for you. There are things you’re good at and things you’re not. For example, the XFA-27 can carry hundreds of missiles, but those missiles are weak. That’s where body parts come into play. Equip your plane with parts that compensate for its weaknesses. Define a strategy. Will you attack from up close or from a distance? Let’s say you’re going to hit the enemy with the EML. No matter how good your aircraft’s maneuverability is overall, if its pitch performance is poor, the EML might be ineffective at close range. In that case, it makes sense to equip a part that boosts pitch maneuverability. On the other hand, if you plan to engage from a distance, pitch performance may not matter as much. And ask yourself. What are you good at? Attacking in a close range or long range?

By developing strategies like this and improving yourself, you can become good at this game too. Welcome to AC 7 :ac7lockon:
You know what, I think I figured it out. There's a MILLION multiplayer parts that you can use which... once I bought those parts and used them, I instantly won my first battle royale. kinda lame but if anyone else is wondering, you have to get those multiplayer parts unlocked to stand a chance against those other people.

Were there CO-OP missions in AC 6 and AC Infinity? Damn… I’ve missed out on so much.

to be fair, infinity in particular had a heavier lean into multiplayer than the rest of AC games, but it's still a shame 7 drew the short end of the stick. i bet MP lobbies would be a bit more lively if AC6's Siege Battle and Co-op Battle were added in there...

hopefully AC8 will expand on the lackluster multiplayer, whenever it comes out that is
About parts, for maneuverability you want to use at least New Flap Actuators2 for pitch, Superior Maneuverability2, for weapons Thrust-Adjusting Steering Device for homing making missiles more accurate (you have for standard and SW variants so keep that in mind when building) for the others parts up to you if you want more damage, more range, more life-time, also you absolutely want the Bulletproof Fuel-tank2 to increase defense and don't get 1-shotted by everything. Keep in mind that parts will only help you, for the rest you want patience and time to learn and for that you want to practice, so take your favorite aircraft and start practicing without fear ❤️ ❤️
Flaps 3
Supermaneuverability 2
Bulletproof Tanks 2

for normal missile stacking:
Missile Homing 2
Missile Damage 2
Datalink

for SPW:

Take Damage 2 and Homing 2...

rest is just experience, leave a message if you need more help
