There's a skill ceiling for sure, learning to do tricks like PSM, knowing when to fire missiles and how to conserve flares vs use them is game sense knowledge. It's not DCS or anything but it works and it's fun. Hop on for a few matches sometime! And if you need help let me know.

war thunder is vastly superior and even in Realistic battles its still easy to play. acecombat is like a ABC alphabet book. if your just there for the "story" I dont know what to tell other than maybe watch youtube videos and save your money or at preferably get better standards on what constitutes as a good story.

You say War Thunder is more realistic than Ace Combat, then why do missiles lock on to prop planes when it's impossible for them to in real life?

Also, has anyone thats tried the widescreen mod been banned from MP? The widescreen mod uses a different .exe without SteamDRM
