Controller not working

Have been playing this game but all of a sudden the controller has stopped working now, was there any update or something that broke it, can't find anything in the settings to find the issue.

Maybe steam update broke it. See the controller settings in the steam options.
If the xbox controller support is checked, try unchecked it. If is not checked, try check it.

I was playing with a controller for a while too and now whenever i press X (PS4 controller) the controls lock and continue shooting (and whatever other button presses were being executed at the same time) for a certain period of time. It's maddening because it was working fine when I first bought the game and now it's not.

I am using a moga xp5 Bluetooth controller and I can't get it to work! I tried to check and unchecked every available option to no avail! Never mind I selected the generic controller option and got it to work!

Yeah lol it turned out my USB3 ports are all broken and it just happened to work properly for me the first time. False alarm.

I had other games working for me with controller but not this one so guess was some game issue, it resolved itself after I opened game after a week or so. (I guess time heals everything :P)
