on what difficulty does the machine gun run count?
planning to do it since it's prob the hardest medal imo, does normal difficulty count or do I have to go hard?

yep. even easy count. I did both machine gun and no damage runs at the same time on easy difficulty. I don't recommend you to do both of them at the same time :D but you do them sepereatley on easy difficulty. not sure if easy - casual is counting or not tho.
