any way to Increase FOV?
I am currently trying to play AC7 in VR using Vorpx and got it working pretty well, the only major issue (besides not being able to look completely around because they locked the cockpit view angles) is that the games FOV is awful and gives tunnel vision in VR. It seems from the comments on the tutorial videos that some of the original methods of trying to increase the FOV such as using cheat engine no longer work and other programs that are supposed to also increase FOV do not work anymore either since a more recent game update. The closest I have gotten is a reddit thread that describes using a Hex editor to change the value in the game EXE but I had no luck in that regard either as it just made the game crash on startup. I am at my wits end about this and was really hoping to get it working as many of the Vorpx demonstration videos on youtube for ace combat 7 look quite amazing and almost 80% as flushed out as project wingman which has native VR support. If there is no way to do it I am content playing it with the bad FOV but if there is even a chance I would like to give it a whirl.

TLDR; How do I increase the FOV to play this in VR without vomiting

Cheat Engine still works, it`s just that the address of the FOV value changes every update. If you have the table from NexusMods
you just need to change the address to Ace7Game.exe+25B6940

I was able to get it working perfectly on the valve index using both cheat engine and a premade cheat engine table. It works amazing as the nexus table allows for hotkeys to hot swap between the vanilla FOV and the increased FOV which gets around the stretching problem in menus. Thanks much for the assistance, now I can play through the entire game in VR. For future users who want to do the same thing I will go step by step to play in VR.

Step 1. Get Vorpx, cheat engine, and the FOV tables in nexus

Step 2. after installing vorpx, go to cloud profiles, search "ace combat 7" under game/app, and import the profile that says "Ace Combat 7 Skies Unknown (reddit) [za..." by Zarlock.

step 3. Open the game and open the FOV tables and make sure to update the address by right clicking at the bottom
-click "change record"
-address
-change the top one with Ace7Game.exe+25B6940
-and hit ok.
once you are in you can use "f5 f6 f7 f8" to adjust FOV with f5 setting back to normal.

step 4. There is two ways to head track, best way is to plug in a game pad and let it think your head is the thumbstick, then it works immediately. If looking around turns the plane you need to set a free look key that you either can hold down with a physical object or use a keyboard macro that holds it. then you toggle on and off free look.

step 5. get bent PSVR GOAT you console VR simp
