Help with an achievement.

I'm looking to do the "There and back again" achievements in which consist in doing all the take-offs, mid air refueling and landings, BUT i haven't got it yet.

Don't know what i'm missing or what i have to do, i already cleared all the game, already repeated all the game which had those mechanics, did already the resuply landings and take offs in mid of a mission and nothing yet.

Any idea what i'm missing or what i have to do?

Some takeoffs are made from a carrier if you have a carrier aircraft, plus don't forget to land at each return line. Best consult Acepedia https://acecombat.wiki.gg to see which missions have those.

You sure you did all of them? It's easy to skip one and forget about it.
Also you need to finish the mission after doing them to save it. If you quit/die it doesn't count. I missed the achievement on my first playthrough because of that. Did the refuelling on mission 11, died, restarted mission and skipped the refuelling that time, and when I finished the game said I skipped it. I had to go back in free mission to refuel and then finish the whole mission afterwards for it to count.

The wiki state the same that othe sites says, so, i'm still confused :/

jummmmm, i see, but i'm still a bit confused.

i mean, let me see if i understanded. I need to do all the mission wihtout diying and wihtout "retry" option? and obviously without skiping?

Because i already finished campaing mode, didn't get the achievement, already played all the missions with thos mechanics and even attemp the resuply line and nothing.

1. Each mission must be completed without skipping the minigames. If you restart a mission, you redo the minigsmes. Checkpoint restarts are allowed if you did not cross the return line after checkpoint (checkpoint also makes the game "forget" a bunch of variables)
2. Make sure to play both regular and carrier versions where applicable. This means you need to play some missions twice on a carrier and non-carrier aircraft

wait what?!...there are two types of take offs?! o. Ou

for example vertical and horizontal take off?

No VTOL. Only regular, land-based take-off (most airplanes) and carrier take-off (for carrier-based planes).

Can you help me naming all the mission and the take offs/ landings / mid air refueling?

as i said i already finished the game, replayed the missions...and nothing XD

so, i really don't know what i'm missing.

Mission 3 - mid-air refueling and regular landing, carrier take-off and landing (for carrier-based aircraft)
Mission 5 - regular take-off and landing
Mission 6 - Return Line take-off and landing (you can actually do this despite what McKinsey and Bandog said earlier)
Mission 7 - regular landing
Mission 11 - Return Line take-off and landing
Mission 14 - mid-air refueling and regular landing
Mission 15 - Return Line take-off and landing
Mission 19 - carrier landing. I suggest playing this mission twice, one with a land-based plane and another with a carrier-based one.
Mission 20 - carrier take-off. Again same as mission 19 - play with both a land-based plane (you'll take off from the back of the carrier) and carrier-based one (regular catapult launch).

EDIT: Before I forget, mission 11 also has mid-air refueling.

Which planes is a land-base type and which one is a carrier-based one? does the game have a description where it says something like that?

F-14, F/A-18, F-35, Rafale, Su-33 are naval. The rest are land based.
ASF-X, CFA-44 and XFA-27 should be naval too, if you bought the DLC for them.

Status report: i already managed to get the achievement.
