Which version of the game should I buy?
Is the base version enough or do I need to buy the Top Gun Maverick + Season Pass to get the most out of the game?

I'd recommend just getting AC7 base with Season Pass. The really substantive DLC are the 3 special missions which you get in the pass. The plane packs are really for the novelty and can be purchased separately later if you should decide to get them.

Just buy the base game at first. If you finish it and like it then you can buy the map packs or the season pass (which includes them). The rest of the DLC is just extra planes which aren't that important.
Top Gun DLC is only a good idea if you really like Top Gun.

Alright, I bought the base game to try it out first. I'll buy the SP and Top Gun Maverick if they go on sale in the future. Ok thank y'all.

A bit of advice if you're planning to buy the planes: you buy them in the bundle and not separately. You also get skins and emblems.

It's definitely cheaper in bundles when it adds up.

I have almost all dlcs, and tbh, just base is enough to enjoy the campaign. Buy the dlcs later if you arent sure. The season pass is the best for the price.
