Best DLC? Anything worthy or relevant at all?

I can see lots of seemingly-overpriced stuff, and several planes that are not really the best of the best, that are hidden behind the DLC paywall. Even cosmetic options seem rather limited and minor.

If I was to purchase some DLC for this game, what are the best options?

Def get the three DLC missions. Together they form a mini campaign, which is more challenging than the main game, has a couple of unique features and just in general is a lot of fun. It even has a really fun story.

But that was the only DLC I bothered with. The game is easy enough without overpowered DLC planes. The SP, at least.

Also the Alicorn fight was a decent boss considering how lack luster the final main mission is.

This is basically it. Missions good. Planes bad.
I guess maybe the plane DLC is worth it if you really love one of the specific planes, but if you do then you already know you want it so you don't need to ask.

OP planes are more relevant if you install this difficulty mod.
I recommend it for all, regardless. :)

i really like the new missions. The fights at the end of the first 2 are really fun (haven't done the 3rd one yet). i'd recommend them.
