Does Belka not exist anymore?

I havent played every game so I guess im missing some context but from what I gathered, i thought Belka only lost some territory after the Belkan War in the 90s and remains as a shell of what it used to be, but Ive heard some dialogue in 7 and seen a few people who give off the impression that Belka was completely dissolved and doesnt exist anymore. What happened to them?

It still exists, Schroeder's just being dramatic, or it's a result of Bandai Namco's somewhat below average localization team. His assistant's name is Martha, not Massa, for instance. Also, Italian bistro.

Belka still exist but for "gamers" only however considering in a few years AC3 takes place where "borders" cease becoming a thing and just transformed to 2 theoretical corporations just battling it out

just to sus you out remember Grunder Industries is infact a front of AWWNB hence why it's one of the corporations thats largely responsible for the events of AC5

Belka just lost significant piece of its territory, it still exists.

Also, nations still exist in AC3 continuity, but corporations just outplay them economically. Plus, I assume this corporate takeover mostly applies to Usea and its barely functional IUN. Yuktobania and Osea are probably still fine.

It's kind of a mystery why Belka still exists. If there's a nation that's known for being sneaky bastards who try to trick other countries into pointless wars then you'd think someone would do something. Why hasn't Osea invaded them yet? You're waiting for them to trick you into a war that gets loads of your citizens killed for no reason for the third time? Come on.

I mean after seeing that they are willing to nuke their own land I guess they (Osea and Yuktobania) are not willing to repeat the Belkan War incident 1 more time

there is also the fact that AWWNB still largely exist with sympathizers on all continents

the gray men were formed from belka's hardline right-wing ultranationalists, whose goals are the polar opposite of those of AWWNB (namely far-left anarcho-libertarianism)
gruender - being the gray men's corporate stooge - thus has nothing to do with AWWNB

at most you can make the inference that the rald party secured a lot of its military might from the same south belka munitions factory that would later become gruender, but they never serviced the two beneficiaries at the same time

AWWNB was formed with some legitimate grievances regarding philosophy and the way that governments of those that defected from were run.

Alright, I'll try to explain this:

What Schroeder was referring to was the loss of Belka's former glory pre-Belkan War. They lost territory, they lost their legendary air force, they even lost their pride (even though a lot of them were largely as a result of a mute mercenary just doing his job). The modern Belka after that period was just a fraction of those.

Some Belkans were bitter about the loss, they weren't ready to let go. And a few of them were willing to go to the extreme (like the Grey Men).
