It was Cossette who actually broke the barrier while Count said "I'll do something", thus the "scam".
In the second DLC mission we can hear the enemy Mig-31 squadron talking about how they don't have any missiles loaded with them and only after some time your squadron members comment about how they are not firing any missiles and that they must have sortied without them. So that defnitely shows what we listen isn't the same our allies do.
I thought, maybe, Count knew how to sabotage the production plant or something like that.
Again, that mission is a confusion and specially while engaged in combat. Apparently there's also a character named George which, according to the dataminers, is the one who framed Trigger in Mission 04 but I can never pay attention to what's happening with him.
Yeah but then in the Anchorhead DLC mission Count uses the same walkie talkie to speak to you directly since the Bats were listening in.
Count mentions that after something happened (Fullband's death) he decided to always carry a radio with him, obviously because he couldn't just trust the AWACS anymore. That way he could directly communicate with other pilots and apparently other people as well. They never mention you carry one with you or any other pilot for that matter however.
