I think who killed harling is not a drone F/A-18

I followed the direction of the missle that killed harling, and I found a F-14
That F-14 was behind me, pretty far away. But all of the Gargoyle team were attacking drones around the ISEV.
Also, during the cutscene, The f/a-18 passed near trigger's plane didn't had a red line in it's cockpit. Which means that plane wasn't a drone!

Sorry to ruin your speculation but it is confirmed ingame that a drone has baited a rocket from trigger (you the player) into harlings transport, hence trigger getting the blame for it.

This kind of thing happens all the time. If a detail would give something away, they just cheat the detail.

Not that I don't appreciate the intent here, but this one is the kind of thing you only really investigate if it's left unresolved.

Yeah, I belieive they changed the f-14 into UAV. But they didn't change the f-14 ingame

Due to the unused voice lines, I believe they changed the f-14 into f-18, but they didn't change this one.

Just saying, for all we know, Harling may not even have been on that heli in the first place.

You sure bout that? You realise gun only playthroughs exist right?

The missile pops out of nowhere when the player keeps shooting uavs. That F-14 happened to be a "suspicious" spot.

Shooting at drones with your gun near Harlings transport will also trigger the cutscene with the missile.
I did the medal myself.

Yep, so Trigger did not kill Harling no matter what weapon you use. If only there was a General in some country who would defect to explain what really happened. WELL ANYWAY.

No. You still don't get it.
It was triggers rocket. Period. This is canon in the lore. A drone baitet it into Harlings.

could it be that the drone rammed itself into copter after split second gettin hit by our missile?, those drones can calculate that fast and does not feel g-force or so remorse.

Where is this shown or stated? How is it true if you play the whole game through via guns or PLSL?

Mission 16: Last Hope
While you escort Labarthe, he talked about the Erusean radicals using Belka technology (drones) to start the war and its literally telling you a drone was programmed to lure a missile into harlings transport to frame a osean pilot.

And about the gun/plsl bit, everyone expects you to use missiles in any normal gameplay.
Also this is a campaign mode where you are set on one path only. You play a story mode. And this story is telling you your missile shot down Harling.

Or in the mission where some Osean fighters turn-out to be "auto-piloted by program" ( aka drones ) ... and in the mission where the Princess' transport got targeted by her own fighters ( also drones ) . Perhaps the hint wasn't "a drone was programmed to lure a missile into harlings transport to frame an Osean pilot" , but rather, a drone disguised literally as an Osean fighter followed closely behind Trigger ... the rest is history.

No, it's telling you that they used a drone with fake IFF to shoot him. Osea just blamed you because they're stupid.
