Also, attackers are a waste in this game. They all suck and you can get the best ATG weapons on multiples or even fighters anyway.
I really always found the special boss drones (for example the Unknown in Mission 10) to be a lot harder. Like, sure, Mihaily can one-shot you in mission 18, if you somehow manage to get hit, and he takes like a thousand shots to go down because he for some reason pilots his craft well enough to take a hit in the best possible place, when simply dodging the missile would be a lot easier. But at least you can hit him. The boss drones don't even move like airplanes.
There's this BS going around the internet that says they go straight for a while after dodging a missile. They do sometimes go straight for a while, but it definitely has nothing to do with dodging missiles. As far as I can tell, it's totally random, and not particularly common.
