Mods in private MP

Would using mods for a private multiplayer game be considered bannable? Me and some friends want to try the SKIES REBALANCED mod in a private MP lobby, but we're honestly unsure if that's considered bannable or not

What ignorance? This is a genuine question. I've seen people do modded MP in private lobbies in youtube as well so

The ban was only for those who use cheats in public matches. Private matches doesn't count. Devs ban people by relying on user reports and infrequent overwatch.

I myself was in one, for example, Selatapura MP map, and I'm fine as it is because the matches are private/invites only. Devs can't ban people in private matches.

Also, the pushed update only bans those who use trainers, (probably) not the ones that use mods in MP, but it's a bit likely that they'll do so because, again, user reports and developer's overwatch.

Yeah your fine to use them in private lobbies. Also PA hasn't really accomplished banning anyone yet. The same trainer user that has been ruining online matches was literally on day after the patch.

Thankfully I'm bad enough at the game that I can't tell when I'm up against cheaters.
