More like the description isn't helpful, as usual. Don't be such a tryhard, not all of us bought the deluxe edition when it came out.
Refunding...I knew Bandai Namco was not to be trusted.
The same company that allowed cyber sleuth preorder dlc to be sold for $400+ on ebay by pirates, never provided it, then years later included it in a "complete edition" of the game, but never in the original lol.
As someone who pre-ordered AC7 Digital Deluxe Edition for the PS4 (on top of getting AC5 for free, never played any AC games from the PS2 era but it was reminiscent of ACX on the PSP), and having purchased AC7 Digital Deluxe on PC, I am very glad Bandai Namco and Project Aces continue to develop and release more DLC content for a game that probably should've been left aside by now.
I've remembered in a YT video from the PlayStation YT channel a mention of AC7 failing because of the outcome of AC Assault Horizon. Recalling the review scores when AC7 released, it seemed at the time AC7 would be hit-and-miss. IGN's score however was completely inept and underwhelming.
After the fact, AC7 did very well actually. I haven't yet played MP and never did on the PS4 now that I sold the console, but at the time I found the controls and the missions to be very difficult. Difficult enough that even with the controls set to Normal and adjusting to basic manueverability, I had frustrating moments. The practicing and retrying each mission from the beginning instead of checkpoints (bc it would discourage me from trying harder) after failing or being shot down, helped and finally got the hang of it.
Going back on-topic, it is fair practice to how the 25th Ann. is being handled because it is content outside of the Season Pass and in this manner by purchasing it we are signalling Project Aces the wanting of more content even if plans for future post-campaign content or anew mode are unlikely.
