Too bad :( .. But while waiting to obtain better equipment, is it possible to combine with the keyboard for the necessary keys? (The joystick replaces the mouse?)

And you can still use the keyboard for assignments not bound to the joystick. I would probably bind these controls to the buttons: fire gun, fire missile, fire flare, and switch weapon. Since you can use the hat switch as buttons also, I would use it to toggle radar and switch target, leaving you with 2 more to use as you like, such as autopilot and switch view. It would look something like this:
Flight_Gun=Button1
Flight_Missile=Button2
Flight_Weapon=Button3
Flight_Target=POV_U1
Flight_Radar=POV_D1
Flight_Flare=Button4
Flight_View=POV_R1
Flight_AutoPilot=POV_L1
I will check the guide to test a little ... Anyway I realize that this game is basically intended for the controller and that it is arcade .. But the sims are a bit too much slow for me ahaha
thank you!
You have to go to property then controller.
You need to match each joystick button to an Xbox controller button in the main game menu. Go to the Xbox Ace combat 7 controller menu to view the controller design and on Steam match the Xbox controller buttons on your own joystick.
you have to enable steam input for the controller to be supported.
The advantage is that then in the adjustment of the joystick you can modify the sensitivity of the jostick, the dynamics of the joystick, and the sensitivity for the accelerator. These parameters will be applied to your joystick.
I would like to put a screenshot of my configuration but I can't do it ... when I find I would put a photo.
This joystick is very light and you will have to find a system to make it fit well on your desk.
After that it works great for its price. You can actually assign 7 buttons (not 4) because the left button has 4 positions.
7 button + 1 accelerator + 4 axis is enough for ace combat 7.
On the keyboard I only have the change of view. Everything else at the joystick.
In addition for an arcade game you will be much more efficient with a mouse and a keyboard than with a joystick. Even if with the joystick the game is great !!! But you'll never be as fast as a mouse.
The joystick is perfect for a real simulation game.
Throttle to In-Game:
0% throttle = 0% Output
100% throttle = 100% Output
Any values in between "OFF / 0" and "FULL / 100" are almost variable. I want to force it to use absolute outputs based on a linear curve. So 25% Z (throttle) actually equals 25% output in-game. Is there a way to add code to the output in the "input.ini" to fix this? Or, do I need to edit a different file?
