PS4 Button prompts

Any way to replace the Xbox buttons with the PS4 ones? im sick of seeing games having the xbox button layout

Prooooobably it is possible, as people are injecting skins to the game, including HUD changes, but I could not find a mod to specifically switch prompts to Dualshock prompts. On the other hand, said prompts are of any necessity in and consist of pressing cross, circle and options from time to time.

It's definitely possible but no one bothered to do it. It's really annoying, I hate when games have xbox button prompts only.

Sadly no, UE4 have some problem with this kind of thing.
Just like Trials of Mana Remake from Square-Enix, modder need to force replace the Xbox by PS button (the game have the button prompt but not detected by Steam).

And another sad thing is no one did that to PC ver of Ace Combat 7. Unfortunately I dont understand how to do it.

Sometimes it was an error within the engine but sometimes the devs are not supporting this kind of feature on the PC version. Thankfully the PC version of Scarlet Nexus didnt do that, but that was another story.

I wish to change it as well. I don't really get why Steam just doesn't let us choose the controller type for specific games I would like to use the Xbox controller only for Halo and the Playstation controller for GTA and Ace Combat and most other games. The whole point of pc gaming is to try to get away from console limitations/restrictions.

AFAIK, no.

Mods that changes textures are fine in multiplayer, as opposed to skin mods.
