You need to kill a heap of stuff. S rank requires 70k points; Rage and Scream give 1.2k each and max time bonus is 8,100, so first phase requires 59.5k points if you don't shoot down any SLUAVs in second phase (worth 800 each).
Time limit is pretty generous (19 minutes for max, first phase takes 15 minutes) but the actual score value is meh.
Yeah, I guess it boils down to killing a lot of enemies (though there are infinite reinforcements, you can't literally kill everything). The officer Ospreys are worth 1.5k each, so it's a good idea to get them.
Any aircraft you recommend? I've been trying to cheese with the ADF-01 for FAAB, but it doesn't help that much for dogfighting in that very inconvenient cloud cover (Although TLS helps nicely against the pesky bats' ECM)
I was actually focusing on wiping out all the ships and ground targets at first, only to realize planes were much easier to destroy and brought more points.
Seriously though, AC7 has a score scaling issue with ships imo. These things are loaded with air defense and can destroy you in a second, they take forever to destroy and the point reward is mediocre...
I realized it in the battle for Farbanti long ago, but go figure why I focused the ships on SP2.
Infinite air reinforcment + 4AAM = ez S rank. Remember that, people :p
Now to suffer attempting the same on SP3...
