sory i wasn't clear, what i mean was upgrading from SU-57 to X-02 Wyvern. not its sub weapons.
Thanks, do you have any good parts to suggest if i buy the X-02 Wyvern?
If it's about multiplayer, then it comes down to special weapon and EML > any other non-lock weapon. To take someone with pulse you will need at least 3 hits on a low durability, low tier plane, while EML will take them down with a single shot. In the scenario where you are able to hit, both weapons need to hit in the same manner so why bother hitting 3+ times when you can 1-shot someone?
EML will require a little more time to get used to and master it, but in the end it will outdo any other weapon. Also it has a way longer range than any other non-lock weapon, which makes it even more powerful. Another thing is that pulse lasers do not work inside clouds, which is something that exists in every single multiplayer stage and people like to hang around clouds to avoid missiles, so you will often enough find your weapon to be literally useless.
To compensate a little bit with some balance, the X-02 has a little less point capacity for parts, but that's not really relevant since the X-02 by default has better speed and maneuverability already.
For campaign all planes:
Body/Yellow
Cutting-Edge Airbrakes Lv. 1
ECU Software Update Lv. 1
Superior Maneuverability Lv. 1
Queen's Custom
For the rest depends on your weapons/planes there's too much to list. However, in most missions except to some extent Faceless Soldiers those Body parts will do you best.
I'd avoid using all the green parts tbh
Thanks a lot dud
Time to grind me self some muneh, yiiet!
For my two cents, it's worth getting all the Fifth-Gen jets. They all do different things well, they're all worth owning. Especially the X2. Even without upgrades, it's perhaps the fastest and most agile jet in the game. And it's armed with one of the best dogfighting weapons in the game in the EML.
All the Gen-5 fighters have something going for them. The F-35 is an amazing lightweight dogfighter and it's really fun to fly. The F/22 is probably the best for Multiplayer and the second-best for Campaign. The Black Widow is a fantastic bomber and almost as fast as the X2.
Just got my X-02 Wyvern, it's fast and turns like a dime :) but i just noticed that the "HardPoint Expansion" doesn't really increase your special weapons, for example it can carry 42x4AAM's but after selecting the Hardpoint Expansion it doesn't increase at all. Is this a bug?
I honestly don't know :3
I've only ever flown with the EML onboard, it feels like the perfect compliment to the Wyvern's natural speed and agility. It's so good at drawing a lead on enemy fighters, so good at positioning itself tactically for frontal shots, that the EML just feels perfect, imho.
EMLs are also pretty versatile; a single EML shot will kill anything up to a Destroyer and severely wound an Aircraft Carrier. A second will finish off literally any target in the game. Meanwhile it's also the easiest way to deal with bosses, and picks off fighters effortlessly at any range. At least once you're practiced with it.
