idk I use ps3 controller my Xbox one controller developed faults
Thrustmaster t flight hotas 4 is a budget flight stick, I have t flight hotas x (its predecessor) and while it did its job for the price it's nothing fancy.

if you already have a TM product try this.
The HOTAS one is decent, I have no complains and use it on Xbox One X, but I'm not a flight stick super guru. I have no complains and it works flawlessly. If you want more buttons on the throttle you might dislike it. But the stick is decent, don't see why it would "suck".
each throttle and stick have two mounting holes to secure it. I did some custom job with a lap desk and it works great.
Right thumbstick is horrible for view control, I seldom used it on the PS2 games. Headtracking cameras are the best non-VR way of looking around (If AC7 even supported looking and flying at the same time). Besides that, I've found a left-hand stick and right-hand mouse to be my personal favorite control scheme in Project Wingman.
Depends, a xbox 360 wired perhaps, but a Xbone controller costs about the same at least where I live.
Get XIM APEX, it will do anything you want.
