How do you beat the stonehenge mission?

I failed 3 times even on easy mode and its frustrating AF cuz the game doesn't tell you where the enemy is damaging it and you suddenly fail. Any tips?

When you get a transmission about approaching bombers, use your map to find them (should be a group of triangles furthest away from stonehenge) and go for a high speed intercept. Ignore their fighter support and focus them. If it helps I used a Su30 with 4xAGM for killing the ground units quickly which seemed to be useful to complete it on hard difficulty without too much difficulty.

I cleared out all the hostiles on the whole map so that there was only allies left.

But i still somehow lost due to the mission timing out after flying around without anything to do until the mission timer ran down.

I feel like there may be a bug stopping the mission from ending with a win.
