What makes it interesting is that it affects everyone. Enemies will shoot eachother, allies shoot eachother even you until you ID them. It really showed how chaotic the situation was.
And I also second the comment about this mission being very interesting, I quite liked it.

Also holding both rudder buttons autolevel the plane and holding fire button gives a weapon camera.
On a side note, the game is much more intuitive with a controller, I play it with an xbone controller and I will try the PS4 controller (DS4windows should do the trick) when I get back from vacation just for the PS2 nostalgia.
