So, how is the QAAM OP in this game?
In past titles, it used to constantly rotate around until it either hit it's target or until it vanishes iirc. However, whenever I fire them, they feel like just a regular missile that vanishes after a miss. What's the complaint exactly?

I haven't bothered with it yet. Reg missiles are just fine.

For multiplayer though, reg missles won't always cut it.

The problem namely is the fire and forget, the lock on range extends 180 degrees on the 5-9 line in front of your plane, so getting a lock is super easy and lazy since the missile will do a lot of the work for you.

Its extremely OP, rotates around you/tracks better than anything else/fast/lots of damage/lots of ammo.

QAAM and the EML need a nerf fast, im not sure why it hasn't been nerfed yet.

yes they will. if you cannot down someone with a standard missile, you need to up your flying game.

if you can reliably hit players with regular missiles, when you switch to qaam's they will annihilate the target every time, especially if your sight picture is adequate.

in AC6 qaam's never circled the target, so I'm not sure which AC game you're talking about.

In unlimited cst matches you need them in order to reach someone that's flying in circles because regular guns just don't cut it
one hit is single digit percentages with bullets and all it does is drag out matches

what they should do is remove the qaam's ability to loop back around

I dunno man. I've played in disabled special weapon lobbies, and all it turns into is a machine gun match since regular missiles are extremely easy to dodge. You clearly have not played the ps2 games, or at least 4. The QAAM there lasts 20 seconds and constantly circles around your target until it either hits or vanishes.

It's not so bad if you pay attention to your radar and your speed. But most people don't, so they stall and die or get sandwiched when they aren't looking at radar.
