Noob question
I haven't played an ace combat game since I was a kid, I am new to this relatively so I have no idea how to get the controls to work accordingly. By default it's making me push my mouse down to pitch up. I can't stand that as I'm used to War Thunder, how can I fix this? I tried changing it in the settings to inverted but it doesn't help. Am I supposed to be using a controller? I'd rather not.

Also, why can't I even change the sound settings while in a mission? Seriously? I don't want to ESC back to the main menu just to turn down the blasting music. It's giving me tutorials with controller buttons like "press A to ___" ♥♥♥♥ like that. Is this just a really bad PC port? I haven't even finished the first mission.

2) in the flight controls you can change your pitch and yaw settings. it is 'down is up' as default because 'trying to realism' (looks at magazine of 100 missiles, that self reload in the air, and the fact you can take a missile right up the tailpipe and not go down) yeahhh....

What's that? You want the good music to be louder? Okay. https://youtu.be/X6IHwNpNM6M
Don't get me wrong, it's good.

I appreciate the help my friend. I finished the first mission even with the unfortunately annoying start and it's very fun and cinematic. I'm so used to War Thunder it might have actually improved my aim. That or the game is secretly hand-holding me and I can't even tell. Well, good thing I have a controller.
