Solved: Thrustmaster Warthog Hotas + Rudder Workaround
Just downloaded x360ce and mapped all controls of the trustmaster warthog hotas and the rudder Pedals to a xbox360 Controller emulation. Now everything works ingame! Just completed Mission 1. happy for now!

I'd be weary about using x360ce in multplayer, it may get false flagged as a hack resulting in a ban. I know that Dark souls 2 players were sometimes banned for using it and that's by the same publisher.

Dark souls 2 used to have VAC support, ace combat 7 does not utilize VAC.

Hey bud, can you give a little more info? I am also trying to set up Warthog stick and throttle.

I have been trying for some time now. I cannot get Ace to recognize anything but the xbox controller. It seems to be mapped in x360ce correctly, for when in the xbox controller tab, I can indeed move the analog stick or squeeze the triggers with the warthog stick and throttle respectively.

I can't figure out what I'm missing.

Can you help with a walk through?

(xbox elite controller, does that make a difference? it's detected fine in both Ace and x360ce)

How works rudder Pedals this way? I read somewhere that, the yaw does't work as analog axis. It is only digital, so noting or full. It's true? Or it can by control propertly whit analog axis?

The Yaw is digital with a 360 Gamepad, because it is mapped to digital buttons, so it still will be digital when you use the 360ce software.
I set up the Saitek X52 with the 360ce software, it was surprisingly comfortable and I just finished Mission 2. The immersion is much better then with a Gamepad. You loose the possibility of tight turns, because they are enabled by pressing both trigger buttons at the same time, but otherwise everything works fine.

There is an in-game option to switch yaw/thrust between shoulders/triggers, but even with yaw on triggers the game doesn't do anything with the analog inputs -- you're either yawing or you're not and you can't change the rate. So to answer the original question, your pedals will work to control the yaw the only way the game allows: all or nothing.

There is also an in-game option to change the input for high-g maneuver from both throttle buttons (type a) to just decelerate (type b) -- with this on type B I can start a high-g turn by pulling my throttle all the way back, but maneuver normally with the throttle in any other position.

Thanks, I didn't saw the option for Type B, very useful.

EDIT: Don't find the option to change High-G manoeuvers to just decelerate, where in the settings is it?

EDIT2: Nevermind. found it, I always looked in the controls menu

I mapped the T16000M FCS's channels in X360CE, but after I put the .ini and .dll file in the AC7 folder, click and run AC7 without any response. But when I removed two files from the AC7 folder, I clicked AC7 and it worked. Does any bro know what's going on?
