Every other game on Steam works fine for me
Then I restarted my PC. I'd had OneNote open, so Windows tried to restart it after the reboot, but it threw a bunch of errors about missing DLLs. I tried to start Word, same thing. So I ran the Office installer again. And that fixed both the Office Apps and Ace Combat. I'm guessing the Ace Combat install did something bad to shared files (like DLLs) that are needed by many programs. The office install fixed that issue. Or something....
I had an issue with crashing Ace Combat 7 during launching via Steam.
I have reinstalled the game - it didn't help.
I have checked the files integrity with Steam tool (via properties - right click on the game in Steam library) - all was ok but it didn't help.
So I have located execution file in local folder and right click on *.exe - i have turned on compatibility mode for windows 8 and turned on "running as an administrator".
It finally helped.
Hope it will help you too.
PS. I'm runnig it on Windows 11.
