Also experiencing this, which is a bummer. My guess would be that the memory address changed with the update. Does anyone know how Callme_Kev (https://steamcommunity.com/id/sesariok) searches for the FOV setting address? If it's just a matter of putting in the time I would be thrilled to help, but how to go about searching for it in AC7 specifically is beyond my knowledge, since the only method I partially know about is looking for changed values after adjusting the setting and I can't think of a way to modulate the FOV in-game.
This is one of the most ridiculous statement I've ever heard! Almost all modern games have a FOV slider, and when someone says they would like it, you actually respond with the above message!?!?!? Wow.
So what? I gave them a suggestion of a game they will probably enjoy. Is that so bad?
I don't have to prove ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, I just have to enjoy all of my games with FOV sliders. It's common now, please stop acting like it's 2004.
The suggestion is fine but it comes off a bit condescending, hence the response. The problem is suspension of disbelief, not necessarily realism. That's what that guy meant by realism, the two get confused a lot.
Also I would say one should always read text as it is by the way, without considering "how it feels".
What the ♥♥♥♥ are you talking about ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥? FOV settings are common in games, I don't have to prove a thing to you. Go find some games that don't have it. Why are you even arguing about this? What a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ argument, find a better hill to die on.
It's not my problem you just go off on people without taking a second to consider what they're actually trying to say. See how well that works out for you in the real world, you must be popular among friends.

Those are just on Steam, and just the ones that I remember being able to change FOV in.
How's that for your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ proof?
>why are you disagreeing?!
>You don't understand what I'm trying to say when I make a clear statement that you disagree with!
Also I'm quite popular in the real world, lol, rest assured.
So what am I supposed to do now? Make a bigger list with games that don't have FOV slider? You are so lost here that you don't realize that such thing is not obligatory in any game and perhaps the devs WANT you to experience the game the way it is presented, is that remotely possible to you to consider?
It doesn't make you physically sick, stop exaggerating. No one is stopping you from doing anything, in case you didn't notice. Why are you so angry about all this to the point of threatening someone else?
