Kind of worried about the PC port now, frankly.
you can use a normal flight stick or a PS4 control and maybe get a HTC-vive
mods in the future aswell as better graphics plus a few extras on steam
and running my rig normally at 100+fps .... yeah Im getting it on pc this time :3
According to this article on Pure PlayStation, the PS4 Pro will have increased frame rate:
"Kazutoki Kono recently spoke with WccfTech about the upcoming game, and he revealed that PS4 Pro support will be geared towards improving the game’s framerate rather than increasing the visual fidelity of the game.
“Basically, rather than a visual difference it will be about making use of a framerate improvement.” He continues saying, “…it may not be very visible at first right, but in terms of playing smoothly and comfortably, we believe it’s important for customers.” "
I've also seen some PS4 Pro footage on YouTube (it was probably on Ace Combat Fan's channel) and the video was displayed at 60 fps, with the frame rate looking smoother than a fixed 30 to me. Doesn't mean it's necessarily running a fixed 60, but it corroborates the article linked above.

I wouldn't be too worried, since this Nvidia article claims there's an option to uncap frame-rate, and resolutions up to 4K (pretty sure in the accompanying video they mention resolution scaling up to 8K, so essentially a 4x super-sample). As for whether we'll get any visual setting improvements compared to consoles, I'm not sure, but they do mention a few options that we should be able to tweak.
As for performance issues and bugs, who knows, but the system requirements aren't too bad so hopefully the game will run well.
FF15 was getting a patch that would "target 60 fps"
patch ran at 35-40.
Nier Automata was "targetting 60 fps"
runs at 45-50
This game will not run at 60 fps on Pro. It will run between 45-60 depending on what youre looking at, and sony fanboys will justify it somehow after the fact
I'd say get it for PS4. You get AC5 and the mp community will probably last longer on console rather than on PC. I was on the fence of getting the PC version vs console version and I ended up pre-oredring for Xbox One so I can get AC6 since I still have a PS2 copy of AC5. Plus, I have an Xbox One X so I'll be able to play in 60fps. Console is probably the way to go for Ace Combat games that is if you care about getting AC5 or 6.
wouldnt be surprised if your 400 dollar toaster also doesnt get 60 fps. the XboneX runs Monster Hunter world at a hot 42 fps in performance mode.
Well I'm not sure why the PS4 edition is so high, even then it's still usually $100 for a new game regardless. There's alot of taxes here, the so called "Netflix tax" was introduced not long ago as well which adds an extra 10% to digital goods. Though to be kinda fair we get a higher average pay wage. I mean you can get the game cheaper if you buy it physically but I've made the move to digital, why it's more expensive I'll never know. Someone else from Aus can probably give a better explaination than me lol.
