Using PCSX2. The PS2 Ace Combat games take advantage of the PS2's anilogue buttons so I can properly map the thrusters and rudder to my throttle and joystick.

We'll see. I wouldn't hold out much hope personally... Though you'd certainly be able to override it with 3rd party tools and get full functionality with an hour of work or so.

Well, didn't you already say No VR = No buy? So, it's a hard No Buy now, because the PC version WILL NOT have VR. (PS4 VR exclusive)

Yeah if it doesnt support sticks and rudders , pretty much no point. Looks great but expect more of a sim style play when it comes to pc...

It depends on whether the PC version supports DirectInput.
Relax m8s.

Both the PS4 and XBox One Ace Combat 7 limited edition HOTAS sticks are supported on PC.

I'm just hoping this would be supported.

If it supports the thrust Master, it should be compatible with other HOTAS as well. HELL YEAH!

Gotta remember, this is an Arcade flight game, not a Flight Sim, so don't come in expecting to change your oil pressure and fuel mixtures.

Nah. But even for arcade games I prefer the flight stick. Different sort of game that I've been playing everspace, and it was never right with a controller because it had to auto level due to a lack of mapping options, the steam controller felt weird because of the trackpad, and playing a space Sim with keyboard and mouse was just odd...

I've got used to using flight sticks for any games where I am piloting aircraft now, I'm just glad to hear that this game supports it, I actually enjoyed assault Horizon, I know that it wasn't well received by fans of the series.

I hope they expand the A-10 missions in this game, perhaps have them attack ground-based targets...

I don't get too excited for most triple A games these days, but this one will be a day one purchase for me. 😁

There are no "A-10 Missions" in the game, you can pick the A 10 as long as you own it, and it tends to be a early to mid tier jet, though often has the best durability, stability and top-tier mobility. (Poor Speed, bad Air to Air secondary weapon options)

But because of how Ace Combat works, you can literally use the A10 for the full Game lol.

And there's lots of CAS style missions in Ace Combat. I'd say it's an even mix between dogfighting and CAS/Ground attack, though some missons will be strictly dogfighting, I don't know of any missions that are strictly CAS as there's almost always at least a few enemy jets buzzing around.

That is awesome, Thank you!

I would like to use the A-10 in it's intended role. Blowing up tanks.
