Using PCSX2. The PS2 Ace Combat games take advantage of the PS2's anilogue buttons so I can properly map the thrusters and rudder to my throttle and joystick.
Well, didn't you already say No VR = No buy? So, it's a hard No Buy now, because the PC version WILL NOT have VR. (PS4 VR exclusive)

Both the PS4 and XBox One Ace Combat 7 limited edition HOTAS sticks are supported on PC.
I'm just hoping this would be supported.

I've got used to using flight sticks for any games where I am piloting aircraft now, I'm just glad to hear that this game supports it, I actually enjoyed assault Horizon, I know that it wasn't well received by fans of the series.
I hope they expand the A-10 missions in this game, perhaps have them attack ground-based targets...
I don't get too excited for most triple A games these days, but this one will be a day one purchase for me. 😁
But because of how Ace Combat works, you can literally use the A10 for the full Game lol.
And there's lots of CAS style missions in Ace Combat. I'd say it's an even mix between dogfighting and CAS/Ground attack, though some missons will be strictly dogfighting, I don't know of any missions that are strictly CAS as there's almost always at least a few enemy jets buzzing around.
