Mods not loading?
Trying to get Project Idolization running; tl;dr dropped the paks into a ~mods folder but nothing is working.
1. Go to your Ace Combat 7 installation folder.
2. Make "~mods" folder in Game/Content/Paks
3. Copy the one of the .pak in this zip file to ~mods folder.
4. Start the game and play.
Turn off all emblems before flight.

These instructions didn't do the trick; anybody with experience know how to get this running?

I'm having the same problem and its really frustrating. Cant seem to find anything about how to fix it either.
For modded skins make sure you have the correct in-game skin selected.

My Aquila/Yellow skin for the X-02S for instance replaces Mage Squadron skin.

I'm a little late to this but; one of the fixes is to add "_P" to the very end of the line just *before* the .pak. For Project iDOLIZATION speficially; it should have this already though.

Reason for this is there was an update recently that changed how textures are rendered or something like that. Specifically at the least the F-22 and Typhoon are affected by this change.

----------------------

One of the other possible fixes is to delete the ~mods folder and remake it. It seemed to fix the issue for a few people; and didn't for others. So this one is hit and miss.

Just make sure that the files aren't in their folders for Project iDOLIZATION. They should all be out of their sorting folders and into the main ~mods folder.

~mods
You 1_P.pak

For example; not:

~mods
Aqours

----------------------

I hope that you got it fixed; or that this helped you in some way.

i have this issues as well, not only with the F-22 and Typhoon, but the ADF11 as well. Already has _P on the name file and tried deleting the mods and creating again, no luck :(
one thing i noticed, on the F22 only, i can see traces of how the custom skin was supposed to show, but it does not load complete

I've tried this and nothing is showing up. i also tried the hishschool dxd skins it works but only the shinny design shows nothing more. Is there something I'm missing? Do i need 100% on the story or?

I tried to put more mods in the mods map but it works only one mod per time. Is there anyone that can help me to put more mods in this game whitout problems?

I think there was a specific mod in Nexus Mods for compatibility between mods so that you can use them at the same time.

oke but how can you know which one good to download and which not?
Vee Aug 30, 2024 @ 5:06pm
1: do not download a mod if it is not safe guaranteed (you can see if it is or not when you click on the page of the mod and look.
2: there is no potential risk to checking out safe mods one by one and installing them to your game to test them out.
3: be sure to read the description of the mod before downloading it.
