Can you dogfight against bots or is it just story/MP?

In Multiplayer style? There's nothing like "vs bot" mode. No "Gauntlet" mission either (they might add something like that in upcoming DLCs).

There are a couple of missions which are just enmasse enemies with a score goal and a time limit, but no specific "select a map and do a deathmatch" option.

Making a more clear question should help next time. Maybe you don't realize that every single enemy that is not a human is a "random jet bot".

Asking if I can dogfight bots, then asking if it is only story/mp really leaves no other option besides the possibility of me asking whether or not I can load up a map and dogfight bots solo. I'd ask if that is hard to comprehend, but I see you play DOTA so that answers that.

Not sure you were aware, when someone is in-game, you can hover over their image and view the game they are playing, without having to view their profile.

My point was, you were salty enough to give him ♥♥♥♥ over playing a popular game, then turned around and acted like he was being salty for idly wondering if you had anything worth making fun of. Nothing to do with whether or not you had to view his profile to find it.
